Over the next few weeks I will break down the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines….Why, because they are truly FUN SHIPS.

So, grab your swimsuits, flip flops, maybe a guy’s burger and your favorite drink and let’s set sail because TRAVEL truly is SEXY.

Which Cruise Line and Ship is right for me…Part 2

Last week we talked about the classes of ships and the Gross Registered Tons and as promised this week we will talk about the different ships in the Fantasy class as well as some of the features of each ship.

There are eight ships in the Fantasy Class which registers in at 70,000+ GRT. They are

  • Fantasy
  • Ectasy
  • Sensation
  • Fascination
  • imagination
  • Inspiration
  • Elation
  • Paradise

So, let’s talk a few stats and share a few of the FUN features

Which Cruise Line and Ship is right for me…Part 2

All ships in the Fantasy class now feature new pool areas, Water Works Water Park, Adults only Serenity pool area, Nine hole mini golf, Atrium lobby bar, an expansive Childrens play room for kids of all ages.

First on the list is the beautiful and amazing FANTASY built in 1990 and updated just this January. It can hold a total of 2,052 guess and a crew of 920. The Fantasy sails to the caribbean from Mobile, AL. on 2-5 days and 10+ day sailings.

 

 

 

 

Second, is the ECTASY built in 1991 and updated in January of 2017. This ship sails with 2,052 guess and a crew of 920.The Ectasy recently added balconies and sails to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Jacksonville, FL. on 2-5 day and 6-9 day voyages.

 

 

 

Third is the SENSATION built in 1993 and updated in February of 2017 it to carry’s 2,052 guress and a crew of 920. The Sensation also added balconies during it’s update. It sails to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Miami on 2-5 day sailings.

 

 

 

 

Fourth is the Fantasy class is the beautiful FASCINATION,built in 1994 and updated February 2018 carrying 2,052 guess and a crew of 920. This ship also added balconies to this ship. It sails to the Caribbean from Barbados and San Juan, PR on 2-5 days and 6-9 days sailings

 

 

 

Fifth is the amazing IMAGINATION built in 1995 and updated in September 2016. They went up a few notches by carrying 2,056 passagners (LOL) and a crew of 920. They sail to Mexico from Los Angeles on 2-5 day sailings.

 

 

 

 

 

Sixth on the list is the INSPIRATION built in 1996 and updated November 2018. This ship holds 2,054 guess on their voyages.and a crew of 920. They sail to Mexico from Los Angeles on 2-5 day sailings.

 

 

 

Seventh is the Fantsay class is the amazing ELATION built in 1998 and updated in September 2017 and setting sail with 2,130 guess and a crew of 920. This ship also added balconies.They sail to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Port Canaveral (Orlando,FL) on 2-5 day sailings.

 

 

 

 

And last in the Fantasy class is the beautiful PARADISE which was built in 1998 and updated in March of 2018 carrying a total of 2,124 passengers and a crew of 920. It sails to the Caribbean from Tampa, FL on 2-5 day sailings.

 

 

 

I have to tell you I had the pleasure of sailing on this very ship for my first ever cruise back in September of 2000.

 

Well there you have it my friends. A little about the ships in the Fantsay Class of Carnival Cruise Lines.
