Let me ask you a question? Have you ever wanted to take a cruise but have no idea where to start or maybe you’ve stared the process but have no idea what ship was right for you. Well have no fear Shawne is here with a guide to steer you in the right direction. Over the next few weeks I will break down the ships of Carnival Cruise Lines….Why, because they are truly FUN SHIPS.

So, grab your swimsuits, flip flops, maybe a guy’s burger and your favorite drink and let’s set sail because TRAVEL truly is SEXY.

Which Cruise Line and Ship is right for me…Part 4

Last week we talked about the Triumph Class and this week as promised we will explore the ships of the Spirit Class.

Carnival offers 4 ships within this class and what I can share with you is that all of the ships have had major upgrades to them. Like the addition of over 680 balcony cabins, a new grand atrium on deck 9, the adults only Serenity lounge area and one of my favorites the Taste Bar. This is an awesome place to explore new food items for free. You can also find the Reservation Steak House, wedding chapel, Water Works and the Sliding Dome all for your pleasure.

The first ship within the Spirit Class is the wonderful and amazing SPIRIT. It was built in 2001 and upgraded in 2015 and set sails with 2,124 passengers and a crew of 910. This beautiful ship sails to Alaska and Hawaii on 6-9 days, 10+ days sailing from Honolulu, HI, Seattle, WA, Vancouver, Bc, Canada.

The Second is the PRIDE. It was built in 2002 and upgraded in 2019 and set sail with 2,124 passengers and a crew of 930. This beautiful ship sails to Bahamas, Bermuda, Caribbean on 6-9 days, 10+ days sailing from Baltimore, MD.

On both the SPIRIT and PRIDE you will also find some fun and exciting additional features like one of my favs. If you love burgers then make sure to check out Guy’s Burger Joint, If you like to spice it up some then stop by The Iguana Cantina, and what would a vacation be if drinks weren’t on the menu so The Tequila Bar is a good place to hangout, maybe sushi is your thing Hakuana Mata (no worries) Bonsai Sushi is just what your looking for. If you want to try something new then stop by and the let dr’s of The Alchemy Bar whip you up something new. The drinks here are to die for. And we can’t forget the kids, my son had the pleasure of playing larger than life The HASBRO GAME SHOW and winnning I might add. It’s a great place to see your favorite board games come to life and sooooooo much more.

Whew, are you tired yet? I’m feeling exhausted and feel like I need a nice cold Pina Colada right about now and we still have 2 more ships to go.

Third on the list is The Legend. It was built in 2002 and upgraded in 2018 and set sail with 2,124 passengers and a crew of 930. This beautiful ship sails to Alaska, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Transatlantic on 6-9 days, 10+ days sailing from Barcelona, Spain, London, England, Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Seattle, WA, Tampa, FL, Vancouver, Bc, Canada, Venice, Italy

And last is the beautiful Miracle. It was built in 2004 and upgraded in 2015 and set sail with 2,124 passengers and a crew of 934. This beautiful ship sails to Alaska, Caribbean, Hawaii, Mexico on  2-5 days, 6-9 days, 10+ days sailing from Los Angeles, CA, Miami, FL, San Diego, CA, San Francisco, CA, Tampa, FL

Like the Spirit and Pride the Legend and Miracle also have a few more upgrades like the Cherry on Top, if you have a sweet tooth then come in and find your favoirte candies. If you love to go to the theater then check out the Playlist Productions trust me when I say some of these shows are amazing. For all my beer lovers be sure to check out Carnivals own Red Frog Pub and a host of other things. Side Note:  On the Miracle you will not find the Bonsai or the Waterworks aqua park.

Well in the words of one of my favorite cartoon LOONEY TUNES…..THAT’S ALL FOLKS. I hope you’ve enjoyed these post thus far. I have had a great time sharing with you Which Cruise Line and Ship is right for you.

Happy Sailing
